 Position Job Opening

We work with Class I Railroads to provide quality design & engineering services for rail and hwy warning devices at road crossings and train control signaling systems. 

Railroad and/or Railroad signaling experience required.

Job Description:


Experienced CAD Designer/Engineer to complete As-Built plans for ongoing railroad signaling projects. Specifically the current openings are for producing PTC final plans after installation of the projects are completed. This is a system-wide project that will require a number of standards updates and minor modifications to existing plan sets based on cut-over markups.

Required Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:


Some school or work related CAD experience.

Preferred Qualifications:


-Demonstrate a strong work ethic and capability of being productive with minimal supervision -Demonstrate ability to work efficiently and independently on redundant drawing modifications on an ongoing basis

-School or work experience with electronics or electrical circuits

-Familiarity with Microstation andlor VersaCAD CAD programs

-Any Railroad Signal experience

-Knowledge of Apple computers or MAC operating systems

-Knowledge of Filemaker program would be a bonus

-lnterest in learning railroad signaling design and growing into a designer once the initial PTC As-Built projects are completed (2-4 years). Requires a very self-motivated learner to learn on the job.
