Kit Assembly / Inventory Specialist

7:30 am - 4:30 pm

$12.00 hourly

The Kit Assembly / Inventory Specialist is responsible for filling reagent assemblies and processing purchase order transfers / receipts into TBML and DST inventory, accurately and in a timely manner.

Duties/Work Ethic


Kit Assembly Duties:

  • Create shop floors for required Reagent Kit Assemblies.
  • Process Reagent Kit Assemblies according to packaging instructions.
  • Process orders.
  • Stock and transfer Assemblies as need to stocking  / shipping locations
  • Maintain supplies and inventory for assemblies.

Inventory Duties:

  • Assist in processing all internal stock movements from orders through  Order Entry. 
  • Assist with accuracy of inventories in stocking locations through the use of cycle counting, and inventory adjustments.
  • Assist in maintaining copies of order entry records for internal stock movements.
  • Answer Customer Services questions regarding any internal stock movement.  Help in finding ways to solve inventory problems.
  • Assist in keeping the warehouse organized and clean.  Keeping all packaging material put away in a neat and orderly fashion.
  • Assist in the organization and movement of product.
  • Assist shipping department in pulling /shipping orders as needed.
  • Help other departments as needed or directed by your supervisor.
  • Keep your supervisor informed of any problems or needs when they arise so as to be addressed quickly.
  • Other Duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Required Qualifications
Experience/ Responsibilities:

•                   Preferably 3 years plus experience in a similar position

Ability to analyze problems, prioritize issues, and develop timely and cost-effective solutions

  • •        Organized and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • •        Demonstrate initiative while working as part of a team.
  • •        Must be able to work a flexible work schedule.
  • •        Must be able to Exert 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • •        Must be able to stand, bend and/or walk for long periods of time daily.

Educational Qualifications/Systems Knowledge

•        Minimum High school diploma,

•        Intermediate computer skills
