Production Packaging Associate

Monday-Friday

11 pm - 7:30 am

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Production Packaging Associate packages product per instructions in master packaging records and maintains a clean and sanitized area in the production suites.   The Production Packaging Associate reports directly to the Production Supervisor but takes immediate direction from the shift Lead Technician or  Technician on duty. 

 

Job Roles required of the position:

•     Fill/Pack:  Performs packaging activities per instructions in master packaging records and quality system procedures. 

•     Clean/Sanitization of production:  Maintains and clean and sanitized area in the production suites.

•     Other duties as assigned.

 

Skills/Qualifications:   Working knowledge of basic math to include addition, subtraction.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS:  Required reading, writing and speaking fluently in English.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is required to sit, stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, lift objects, and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, and kneel, crouch or crawl. WORK ENVIRONMENT:  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. The employee is exposed to laboratory chemical reagents and microbial cultures.  The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate; some activities require personal protective equipment, which is provided.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: Minimum Requirements:  High School diploma or GED required.  Experience in a packaging environment preferred
